Medical Director – Dr. Lee Anneberg
Dr. Anneberg has experience working in long-term care since 1980 and serving as a Medical Director since the 1980’s. He is a Certified Medical Director (CMD) by AMDA since 1992. He passed the certification exam for added Qualifications in Geriatrics in 1986 and has been certified in Internal Medicine since 1979. Dr Anneberg is the Immediate Past President of the Colorado Medical Directors Association. He also is a past president of the Denver Medical Society and a past president of Presbyterian/St. Luke’s and Spalding Hospitals. Dr. Anneberg is a graduate of the University of Iowa School of Medicine in 1976 and is an Assistant Clinical Professor of Medicine at the University of Colorado School of Medicine.
Administrator – Vicki Weddle, NHA
Vicki Weddle has been a licensed Nursing Home Administrator since 1989 with licenses in both Colorado and Washington State. Vicki’s degree is in Social Work and she has spent several years as a counselor and case worker prior to getting her Administrator ‘s license. For 28 years, Vicki’s most enjoyable part in her profession is to understand the needs of her residents. She loves the family feel at Aspen Siesta and the time she can spend with the residents, families and staff.
Director of Nurses – Dyan Lewis, RN, BSN
Dyan Lewis has enjoyed working in Geriatrics for over 30 years. Dyan has been serving the residents of Aspen Siesta since 2008. She also was a Director of Nursing for one of our company’s facilities in California before returning to Colorado. Dyan has spent many years as a Nurse Educator teaching CNA and LPN programs. Dyan has dedicated her career to educating nurses in becoming better caregivers to the elderly. She feels it is a privilege to work in such a beautiful environment and to care for the wonderful residents, families, and staff of Aspen Siesta.
Activity Director – Kattie Getman
Kattie received her Bachelor of Music Education degree at the University of Northern Colorado in 2002 followed by a National Activity Director certification in 2016. Kattie has been in activities in nursing homes since 2007 and has been directing activities at Aspen Siesta since January 2017. Kattie’s philosophy on activities is, “You can tell if a human community is healthy by the strength of its activities. I bring life in to Aspen Siesta each and every day”. Kattie believes that there is so much life to be found in a nursing home community and that magic can happen for someone who utilizes social group activity, parties, events and daily get-together as a way to meet a friend and find belonging in an active environment.
Operations Director-Tom Duganieri
Tom joined Aspen Siesta in February of 2017. He has his degree in Engineering and Construction from EU. Tom brings over 20 years of maintenance and engineering experience with multi-family housing and Long term care facilities to Aspen Siesta. He is certified as an Environmental Services Director and in Crisis Prevention Intervention with CHCA. Tom is also a licensed contractor with the state of Colorado.
Director of Resident Services-Cheryl Ladwig
Cheryl Ladwig has worked in long term care since the 1970’s as a C.N.A. and began furthering her education in the 1980’s at Front Range Community College and the University of Northern Colorado. She has a Bachelor of Science degree in Rehabilitation Counseling. She has worked with individuals with various types of dementia, mental illness, intellectual disabilities and behavioral difficulties throughout the Denver area and central mountain region. Cheryl has worked at Aspen Siesta since September of 2016. Cheryl’s other passions are riding motorcycles and traveling.
Medical Records Director – Martha Shea
Martha joined the Aspen Siesta team in 2012 with 35 years’ experience in long-term care. She feels that coming to work at Aspen Siesta is a rewarding experience, as well as being able to be a part of the residents’ daily lives. Married to her husband Bob, she has three sons, nine grandchildren, two dogs, a cat, and her quarter horse Sasha.
